We will only scan images from the Port Arthur Public Library's History, Archives and Photo Collections. Note that costs are roughly based on materials and staff time to process requests.  The Port Arthur Public Library may not own the copyright to the images which are being scanned. However, we do request that images used for publication indicate that "Port Arthur Public Library Archives" be credited as the source.

By requesting scanning services, you acknowledge that the copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.
